Searchable FAQ at Help Desk site. Now, search through over a hundred questions answering the most frequently asked questions about D2L.  

 

 

 

General Information 

 

Staff at the help desk can provide phone and email technical support for students, faculty, and site administrators using Desire2Learn. A searchable knowledge base provides on-demand 24x7 support as well.

 

The Help Desk provides 16x7 "live" support from 7 AM until 11:00 PM. This includes weekends, but excludes holidays. Additionally, the Help Desk site provides on-demand 24x7 support via searchable FAQ's. This first tier of support, which uses RightNow Technologies, can provide immediate answers to user questions via a searchable knowledge base. If users do not find an answer to their question, they can then call or email the Support Desk. 

Accessing the Help Desk

Users should contact the Help Desk by submitting a question through the “Ask a Question” tab. If they need immediate assistance the Help Desk phone number will be included in a confirmation email sent to the email account entered when they submitted a question. Users MUST have a question incident number when they call the support line. This incident number is automatically created when they submit a question. This number will be included in a confirmation email.
